With OpenTable we offer real-time online reservation. You can conveniently reserve online for the day you want and receive the confirmation right away. A reservation by e-mail (zentrale@saltandsilver.de) is also possible.

For reservations of 10 or more, feel free to send us an e-mail at zentrale@saltandsilver.de.
03Hire a restaurant exclusively?
The restaurants can be hired exclusively for events. Enquiries to: zentrale@saltandsilver.de.
04What is the difference between the three restaurants?
Salt & Silver Restaurant:
Here we serve our guests a creative menu. The cooking in the restaurant is shaped by bold fire flavours, complex spice and a refreshing play of acidity and heat. Our menu changes and evolves constantly. We are always looking for the best ingredients of the season and the freshest catch of the day, with drinks to match. So we ask you to trust us and open yourself to the surprises we have prepared for you.
Bistro Crudo:
Here we serve tacos we like, ceviches we can be proud of, and bar food that makes you happy and thirsty. Whether a quick snack or a full table with lots of friends – Bistro Crudo is your weekend bistro for culinary trips around the world, Salt & Silver style.
Salt & Silver am Meer:
In St. Peter-Ording we work with cattle & lambs that graze on the local salt marshes, mussels & oysters from the North Sea, and fish you can enjoy with a clear conscience. Plus simple yet refined vegetarian treats from the farms nearby – grilled crisp & smoky over an open fire. Everyone orders à la carte, we do not offer set menus.
As we work very seasonally and regionally, the menu may still change if your reservation is far in advance.

The Hamburg restaurant & Bistro Crudo are located at St. Pauli Hafenstraße 136-140 in Hamburg.
Salt & Silver am Meer is located on Böhler Strand in St. Peter-Ording.
06What are the opening hours?
Salt & Silver Hamburg:
Monday to Saturday:
- 6 pm – midnight
The kitchen closes at 9:30 pm.
Bistro Crudo:
Friday & Saturday:
- 6 pm – midnight
The kitchen closes at 9:30 pm.
Salt & Silver am Meer:
April to October, closed on Wednesdays.

07When is the kiosk in St. Peter-Ording open?
The kiosk is open from 12 – 5 pm in beach weather. On other days you can buy small dishes and drinks as take-away upstairs in the restaurant.
08Card payment? No problem!
You can pay with the following cards: MasterCard/Visa/EC card.
PLEASE NOTE: cash payment is not possible in the two Hamburg restaurants.

10Are there vegetarian/vegan dishes?
We offer a wide range of vegetarian dishes and a few vegan ones. If you eat exclusively vegan, please let us know in advance with your reservation so the kitchen can prepare for your wishes in the best possible way.
11I have an allergy/dietary restrictions. Can I eat at your place?
Feel free to send us an e-mail (zentrale@saltandsilver.de) or add your allergies directly to your booking.
12Do you have vouchers?
You can buy our vouchers for Hamburg and St. Peter-Ording in our online shop. You decide: sent directly as a PDF or as a voucher card by post.
PLEASE NOTE: the vouchers are valid either for our restaurants in Hamburg OR in St. Peter-Ording.
13Can we bring our dog?
Dogs are welcome in St. Peter-Ording and in the Hamburg restaurants. But please let us know beforehand with your reservation if you are bringing a dog. Please understand that with a full restaurant and a very large dog we cannot always offer a table inside.
14Is the restaurant accessible?
In Hamburg the terrace is accessible. The toilets, however, are not.
15How do I request a hospitality receipt?
To receive a hospitality receipt/an invoice, please send an e-mail to mail@saltandsilver.de. Please attach your receipt from the restaurant and your company's billing address to the e-mail. Our team will send you the invoice as a PDF.
